In order to list an Event or Service/Goods you will need to open an account and then to have that account charged by calling our offices at (876) 924-1708. When this process has been completed, go to Add an Event, or Add a Service - follow the steps listed.

How do I search for an Event or Service?

There are three (3) simple ways to search for an Event or Service/Goods on the site:

POWER SEARCH: The system is designed to default to Power Search (Events) and shows all Events listed for Today. If you wish information on an event scheduled for Tomorrow, Next Week, This Month or Next Month, select the 'from' button then select the required dates. Press Search. The settings can be adjusted by selecting the appropriate filters of What (sorts by Category, e.g. Arts, Business, Music), Who (sorts by Person, Venue or Event Name), Where (sorts by geographical location e.g. Jamaica/St. Ann/Ocho Rios), When (sorts by Date and enables you to search for events happening this week, next week, this month and next month). To Power Search Services/Goods, select Services/Goods on the main menu bar and the page will default to Power Search (Services/Goods. Very similar to Power Search (Events) select the filters What (Select the Category, or to view all services listed, select All), Who (Select whether Services, People or Venue and type in name), Where (select Country, State, City). Press Search

QUICK SEARCH: This is the simplest way of finding information on whatsonjamaica.com. The information provided will not be date sensitive however will give all information, present or future on the search requested. Accessing Quick Search is easy. Click on 'show menu bar' located at the top left side of the screen under Events on the main menu bar. Quick Search comes up on the left side of the screen under hide/show menu bar. BROWSE BY CATEGORY: Allows you to search for Events/Services/Goods by Category classification. There are fourteen (14) main categories to be found under this field. The Main categories are further divided into Sub-categories and Area of Interest. You then have the option of searching Events or Services/Goods. To access 'Browse by Category' click on show menu bar located at the top left corner under Events on the main menu bar. The 'Browse by Category' engine is located under the 'Quick Search' engine. Select a Category e.g. Business; select a Sub-Category e.g. Electronics - Professional; select an Area of Interest e.g. Audio/Lighting. Choose whether you wish to search under an Event or Service/Goods. Press Search. When results appear click on the WHO for details on your search.
